Best Western Plus Thornburg Inn & Suites

Me and my boyfriend LOVED staying here. The staff was so friendly and helpful, beds were comfy with nice pillows, the room was clean, the entire place is so quiet i couldnt even tell if there was anyone else even there most of the time, and the air-conditioning kicked so much ass that we accidentally froze ourselves. We run super hot and we always bring our own fans, but we really didnt need them here. We even turned the ac off a couple times which never happens for us! I chose this place specifically for the indoor pool and I was not disappointed. There was only once we had to share it with other people and even then there were only a couple people actually in the pool, so we basically had the pool to ourselves every time. It wasn't crazy over chlorinated and it was the perfect temperature. We saw all the reviews about breakfast and we made jokes about "Damn dude, breakfast must be bangin' cause everyone is mentioning it." They were not wrong. Sausage gravy, eggs, potatoes with veggies, cereal, oatmeal, Greek yogurt, hardboiled eggs, juices, fresh fruit, raisins, chocolate chips, coconut flakes... I literally kept seeing more and more and it was always being refilled. It was the best hotel breakfast I've ever had. My boyfriend ended up getting sick our last day and was stuck in bed. I asked if I could bring him something up stairs because he hadn't eaten in a while, and they gave me a tray and told me to grab him anything he wanted. I was just expecting something small but the hospitality here is amazing. It was so appreciated and made our day so much better. DRIVING location aside, since this Best Western has nothing to do with Virginia's serious lack of competent road construction, we could walk to multiple places and grab snacks and not have to waste any gas. I'm glad this place will be here when the water park goes in because this is definitely where I'll be staying when I get the chance. Book here.

We decided to go away Saturday afternoon. I was impressed with how easy it was to make the reservation. I was impressed with the king suite. The kitchenette was cute and easy to use. The shower and bathtub were clean and easy to use. It was a great place to stay.

Good Breakfast, Good location once road construction is finished.

The hotel was close to 95 and had gas, restaurants and other facilities right there. The room was spacious and very clean. I forgot one of my toiletries and they provided one to me. The bed was very comfortable, I wish I could have slept later.

Staff was wonderful. Breakfast was excellent with amazing coffee machine. Pancakes, eggs, yogurt, cereals, a great selection. Beds were very comfortable. Room was quiet by bedtime. Nice Mexican restaurant within walking distance for someone adventurous enough to try it.
